90-degree sprayer tip - $4/package of 3 plus time constructing

Sidelines Sports nickel plated brass inflating needles can be used to create the 90 degree sprayer tips. Found at most sporting goods stores and available in some hardware stores.

Most inflating needles are made from either nickel plated brass or stainless steel.

Unfortunately the inflating needles which come with the 7 Piece Air Blow Gun Kits are stainless steel and are very difficult to bend without breaking.

Secure the needle and bend over a coarse threaded 5/16 bolt to ensure a smooth 90 degree bend without kinking or breaking.

The coarse threads on the 5/16 bolt nicely hold the needle in place while bending.

With an abrasive cutting wheel cut off the tip of the needle at the side blow off hole.

Or you can use wire cutting pliers or a steel hack saw also.

Simply cutting it off with regular pliers or snips will crimp the end and block off the exit hole.

You want to finish with a round 90 degree bend with an open hole at the end to facilitate a nice smooth flow of fluid from the tip.
